Homepage of flash developer Kalou. All in all a very lush design, great interaction and bold, rich graphics. Some really good ideas behind the interface, which reconfigures itself nicely as you enter galleries. Brilliant use of bitmap effects, particularly the fade to monochrome effect used when browsing photographs.

La Coquette is a fashion label from Buenos Aires, Argentina, though to me the style of this site has a distinctly European feel to it. Their collections are neatly packaged into a collaged, slightly grungy interface, which makes nice use of the popular auto scroll idea. Beautiful promotional photography too.

This is a very intriguing portfolio of work. There are some great examples of photography and some very interesting digital illustration examples with rich textures and very evocative imagery. Another nice feature is a live example of their image retouching skills, where you can preview the original image and slide into the retouched version. Very cool.

New online portfolio for Norwegian photographer Kimm Saatvedt. We like the simplicity of this site. The navigation is straight forward but effective, and makes way for a great portfolio of photographs. Nice attention to detail with the lighting and multi shot layouts.

Attractive, of not slightly tricky to use 3d menu system, which for all its minor drawbacks is very eye catching and a nice way of displaying Max Folley's photographic work. Perhaps the thumbnails could be slightly bigger, but that aside this is a funky portfolio site with superb touches like a rating system for the work.
